To paraphrase John Piper, "missions exists because worship does not." Though missions is not ultimate, it is a means to an ends. At Summit, we are absolutely committed to the task of fulfilling the Great Commission. Before ascending to the Father Jesus told His disciples, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all I have commanded of you." ~ Matthew 28:18-20a ESV.
